Lyric Notes Vol. 23

This insurance thing is a pain. We have been trying to get insurance for the past 3 months and not one agency knows how to insure a movie theater/cafe that sells beer and wine. How can that be? there are probably 60-70 in the United States, if not more, and they still haven't figured this out yet? Just make a call and find out. I feel like I'm taking crazy pills!!

Enough about insurance, I dislike insurance companies almost as much as I dislike green peppers. They are both over-baring and over-powering, yet add no substantial contribution to society. (I'm sure I offended at least 10 people with that analogy...sorry green pepper lovers.) Anyway, Valentine's day, what a wonderful holiday. It's a time for joy, laughter, family getting together and playing boggle, drinking absinthe and shooting BB guns...I love Valentine's day. Oh, wait, that's Columbus day. Valentine's day is always too wet for me, that's why Josh and I spent it drywalling. If all turns out well we will be painting and flooring next week, then trim and finish stuff, and finally the grand opening (note: several items were omitted to save typing and make a point). I'm hoping that we can get open by....sometime...in...the near future. AHA! You thought I was going to give a date didn't you?! Well, I'm not going to paint myself into a corner yet, that will be next week. HAHAHA, another pun...it's all pun-central here. I'm going to stop typing now, before I say something really stupid.

Howdy,
A Midwestern greeting from a Long Island suburbian transplant. Sounds like you guys have been plugging away for awhile. When your down in the dumps know that I and a substantial group of friends are anxiously awaiting your opening. We are extatic that there will be someplace where we can see some independent films. I even have a friend that has moved to Tenn (right near an Elephant sactuary) who is severely jealous that you are opening after she has moved away. Honestly, She even posts a movie quote every week on her live journal.
I wish you all the best and thanks for bring Lyric to Ft Collins.
